BOSCH Rexroth has expanded its product line to include complete hydraulic drive systems from Hägglunds Drives AB, for advanced applications that require high torque at low speeds.
The drive systems are used in a wide variety of industries, including mining and material-handling equipment, marine and offshore technology, paper and pulp processing as well as recycling, sugar cane processing and the chemical industry. In the renewable energy field, Hägglunds’ drives power machines for ethanol manufacturing and are used in the initial prototypes for ocean energy generation.
Previously, Rexroth products were used in these applications, but the expansion of its product line strengthens The Drive and Control Company’s global position in the hydraulics field.
Hägglunds is integrated into the hydraulics technology group of Bosch Rexroth AG, and its products will continue to be offered as a part of the Rexroth brand name. With its distribution channels and service network remaining intact, Hägglunds customers worldwide will keep their familiar contact partners.
