SMC PNEUMATICS has released a vacuum ejector said to optimise compressed air usage in pick-and-place applications.
The company says the ZL112 operates over three stages and provides 250% more suction than single or double stage ejectors.
According to the manufacturer, using a multi-stage unit ensures only the required amount of air is used throughout the process. As a result, air consumption has been reduced by 20%.
The device is also available with a positive pressure break valve and a vacuum switch.
