NSK says their range of maintenance tools ensures the right tool is available for fitting and removal which assists in maximising bearing operating life and minimises down time. They offer the hire service in a transportable kit format as an addition to their bearing range.
Kits are available to suit shaft sizes from 125mm (adaptor sleeve H3128) to 240mm (adaptor sleeve H3152).
Operation of NSK's hydraulic nuts with patented axial drive-up gauge ensures the accurate and quick installation of tapered bore bearings. The drive-up gauge allows simple measurement of the piston position, and thus the drive up of bearing inner ring. NSK's drive-up gauge minimises the nee to continually check the clearance reduction with feeler gauges to monitor drive up.
