SIMMATIC Automation Specialists has launched a hopper loader powered by compressed air.
The Vtec system can handle up to 9000kg per hour over distances up to 30m as part of a conveyor operation.
The company says the unit is suitable for areas where electrical equipment is ineffective and expensive.
According to the developer, the hopper has an in-built vacuum control system and needs only a single compressed air input.
