BOSCH Rexroth has released a range of electro-pneumatic pressure regulators said to offer high accuracy and dyanamics.
The ED02 Series is made with two directly controlled two-way proportional valves and can achieve airflows up to 100L per minute. Compressed air supply is possible from both sides.
The unit uses a microprocessor to achieve repeatability of 30 mbar and a hysteresis of 50 mbar. Four of the devices can be linked to each other without a base plate.
The company says the supply voltage, analogue set point and actual value are electrically connected through a central M12 plug. The regulator can be used in applications from simple remote pressure adjustment to more complex control.
According to the manufacturer, the device can be used in many sectors, such as the assembly, semiconductor, printing and food industries. It is rated with IP-65 approvals.
