EATON has released the Walterscheid WALPro fittings, featuring a unique two-edge cutting ring technology which combines high axial strength and radial flexibility.
The WALPro System is designed for use in hydraulic systems on industrial and mobile equipment. Eaton says it provides a full 360 degree tube seal while eliminating over-tightening deformations.
According to Eaton, the WALPro System fittings use an advanced profile ring designed for performance and safe assembly. During assembly, the two cutting edges of the profile ring penetrate the tube, creating a safe and reliable seal while the top area of the profile ring seals along the 24 degree surface of the fittings body.
Eaton says the profile ring's geometry also provides the necessary axial strength to minimise ‘over-torquing’, which is common during tube fitting assembly.
