BÜRKERT has released a modular electro-pneumatic automation system for hazardous areas.
The AirLINE Ex Type 8650 is installed with Siemens’ SIMATIC ET 200iSP system.
The company says the units are certified under ATEX and KEMA standards.
According to the developer, electro-pneumatic combination systems are becoming more common in manufacturing environments. The product can perform maintenance and diagnostic functions.
