SPECTRONICS has released a leak detection kit which can be used to pinpoint the exact source of fluid leaks in hydraulic equipment and compressors.
The OPK-341 Industrial Leak Detection Kit includes a variety of equipment, but at its core is the OPTIMAX3000 blue light LED inspection flashlight. The company says this cordless, rechargeable and super-powerful flashlight is 15 times brighter than regular LED flashlights and has a range of 6.1m.
The light is powered by a NiMH battery and has an LED life of 50,000 hours.
The kit also includes two twin-neck bottles of OIL-GLO 44 concentrated fluorescent oil dye which is compatible with all synthetic and petroleum-based fluids. When ever the flashlight is shone over a leaky system, the glowing dye will reveal the exact location of the leak.
A spray bottle of GLO-AWAY dye cleaner, smart AC and DC chargers and fluorescence-enhancing glasses are also included with the others equipment in a rugged carrying case.
