LBX has released a hydraulic materials handling machine, specifically designed for scrap metal handling, demolition, waste transfer and site preparation applications.
The Link-Belt 240 X2 Material Handler is equipped with a range of tools, including dangling magnets, orange-peel grapples, trash grapples, buckets and shears. The operations of these tools are controlled by auxiliary hydraulics.
The company says the machine can also be fitted with a hydraulic motor and piping for extra generation.
The unit’s operator cab can hydraulically rise to a full height of 5.5m, providing excellent visibility of a worksite. An optional cab anti-interference device and an operator protection panel are available to prevent the attachment tool from damaging the cab when it’s positioned at its furthermost point.
