PARKER domnick hunter has released the MIDIGAS nitrogen generators, which are designed to complement the current MAXIGAS range used by many Australian industries.
The MIDIGAS generator is available in three models and is designed to offer a cost- effective method of producing high purity nitrogen on site from a supply of compressed air.
Parker domnick hunter says this design eliminates the need for expensive gas storage cylinders, dewars or bulk storage solutions. Therefore, it will pay itself off after between 12 and 24 months and provide ongoing savings of 90% thereafter.
Futhermore, according to Parker domnick hunter, the MIDIGAS generator also allows operators to overcome the environmental and carbon footprint issues associated with the road transport of bottled gas and the unpredictability of fluctuating gas prices.
The MIDIGAS generators are supplied as an integrated system and only require connections to mains power and a compressed air supply.
Parker domnick hunter says the MIDIGAS generator can be used in applications ranging from modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and food and beverage processing to electronic component production, plastic component production, metal working and tank and pipe sparging.
