ENERPAC has released a hydraulic pump which it says can complete tasks twice as quickly as conventional units.
The 700 bar XVARI XA has a rotating air motor and a two-stage pump element which increases hydraulic delivery by up to 50%.
The unit has a two-pedal controller to activate the advance and retract functions. The company says the pedal mechanism provides a time-efficient and safer hands-free operation which reduces fatigue and improves stability.
The developer claims the device offers continuous and precise control of hydraulic oil flow in the pump’s advance and retract mode.
According to the manufacturer, the pump is suitable for applications which require accurate load positioning and aligning and a controlled descent.
